Break Through, Sandra Lugo
"Esau said to his father, Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father! Then Esau wept aloud. His father Isaac answered him, Your dwelling will be away from the earth's richness, away from the dew of heaven above. You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother. But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck." Genesis 27:38-40 - NIV
What do you do with a sea that won’t let you cross it? You break through it.
What do you do with a wall that won’t let you climb it? You break through it.
Esau lost his inheritance and his blessing because he was passive. Jacob received the inheritance and the blessing because he was aggressive. Here’s something for us to learn, when you lose everything that is natural there is something reserved for you in the spiritual. All is not lost. There is a word in the spirit realm that will empower you to do great exploits. Esau got a word. His prophetic word, “when you become restless, you will throw his yoke from your neck.” In other words, you’ll be free when you want to be free. When you stop putting up with mess, you won’t have a mess. You’ll be free when you really want to be free.
Here's a word you may not want to hear: "Your breakthrough will come when you choose to break through."
Do you need a change?
Some changes won’t come until you get mad and do something about it.
It’s time to become violent with your faith. It’s time to get sick and tired of being sick and tired. It’s time to get aggressive.
Are you restless? If not, it’s time to get restless. Breakthrough will come because you're restless.
Get restless!
Get violent!
Miracles happen when we get restless. A word of advice, add pressure to the pressure and stop chasing after comfort.
Esau was not told that God was going to break the yoke, neither was he told that the devil was going to cut him loose. He was told you have to break it on your own. Stop expecting God to do what He has empowered you to do.
Stop blaming and start take authority over your situation or dilemma.
Are you in a situation that doesn’t want to change?
You’re praying but it’s not changing.
You’re fasting but it’s not changing.
Listen: You don’t need a miracle -- you need a breakthrough! You need to break the thing that is seeking to break you. The word “break” means to cause to part or to divide by force.
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. "Matthew 11:12-13 - (NKJV)
Some things in life will never change until we change our attitude, our disposition and our complaint. The word “force” means the intensity of power. When you exert power, your situation feels the force. Force is what breaks through the pressure that is seeking to break you.
Do you need a breakthrough? Get violent and take it by force!
