Seasons Change

Seasons Change, Sandra Lugo

Seasons are the spice of life. They are made of months and moments of transition.

Transition:

1 a: passage from one state, stage, subject, or place to another: change b: a movement, development, or evolution from one form, stage, or style to another.

One of the biggest fear people have is the fear of change.  While they may want a change, the uncertainty of change leads to stagnation.  More often than not, a good majority of people prefer to deal with what is familiar than tackle the unknown.  Lack of knowledge and lack of experience in a field, activity or endeavor is often the excuse for not undertaking a new thing.

Sure they'd like a career change, but ...

Sure they'd like to search for a new job but...

Sure they'd like to find new love but...

Sure they'd like to move to another state or country but...

At the core of the reasons why they won't, is fear.

Change can be a scary thing.

The prophetic can help us with that.

The prophetic often comes to reveal seasons.

The prophetic reveals the season we are in and reveals the season we will be in.

It's God desire to move us from this season of your life to the next.  From one place in time to another.  This speaks of destination. (Destiny)

But know this, you cannot have destination without transportation.  Transportation is how you get to the place that God has ordained for you.  Let's clear up a misconception, you get to destiny, destiny does not get to you.

Think of it like a train.  God has spoken destiny and purpose but we have allowed the train to remain still and it has corroded because of non-use.  Stagnation has a way at eating up divine opportunities.  The funny thing about time is that time waits for no one.

While you're waiting for destiny, destiny is waiting for you.

Is your life stationed and motionless?  Lots of activity but no growth?

Life's experiences are lessons learned that lead us to our next level in God.  This season of your life is preparation for the next season.  Every season has a purpose.  As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.  All four seasons are necessary.

There are certain experiences you must go through in order to reach your next level in God.  These experiences are your mode of transportation.  They are transporting you to God's ultimate purpose and plan for your life.

Listen to God's heart towards you,

"...For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future..."

If you desire to fulfill God's ordained destiny for your life, get on the train.  Start living life on purpose.  Don't let life pass you by.  Don't spectate, participate.

Seasons change, but the question is, "Will you?"

Don't allow familiarity to keep you from the newness that is waiting for you just around bend.  Begin to change your old mindsets and watch your winter change to spring.
